MAHA District 5

Association Information - Monday, July 12, 2010

In order to be considered an association in good standing, and be sanctioned by M.A.H.A District 5 as an association, all associations must adhere to the following guidelines set forth here and in the M.A.H.A Annual guide by the following dates.

1. An association must submit to the district chairperson by August 1^st of the current season.

a. A signed and completed affiliate agreement.

b. A copy of the association by-laws, or a letter stating that the bylaws have not changed.

2. An association must submit to the district chairperson by August 15^th of the current season, association draft rules.

3. An association A.C.E. Director or his/her representative must attend at least one (1) A.C.E. Regional Kick-off meeting.

4. An association must be in compliance of the M.A.H.A. guidelines for a Skill Development Program (See attached guidelines form) by December 31^st of the current season.

5. An association must have at least three (3) drafted teams, excluding skill development by December 1^st of the current season.

Affiliate agreements and by-laws will not be forwarded to M.A.H.A. Executive Committee until it has been confirmed that the A.C.E. Director or his/her representative has attended one of the Regional Kick-off meetings. Any association that does not meet the above criteria will not be recognized as an association, and will not be sanctioned for the following season.
